Artificial Intelligence

Focused on principles such as safety, sustainability, and inclusion, the Impact Coalition on AI & Cyber-Tech Governance will seek to improve global management of artificial intelligence and other cyber-technologies, with the aim of expanding significantly for all nations and people the potential benefits of these powerful technologies while, simultaneously, mitigating their risks.

Children’s Rights and Participation

Children are acknowledged as agents of change by the 2030 Agenda, which builds on the UNCRC Principles. We seek to advance on clearly establishing children and young people (under 18 years of age) as a critical constituency, which enables bringing their voices and their needs and solutions to global-level policymaking. Earth Governance

This coalition will focus on establishing and strengthening Earth governance mechanisms, building on Mobilizing an Earth Governance Alliance (MEGA), a coalition of civil society organizations, like-minded governments, legislators, experts, private sector actors and other stakeholders. Funding for Community Action on Sustainable Development

This session will seek to explore collective needs for access to funding and learn from existing good practices from across key civil society constituencies on approaches to enhance the flexibility for funding support for grassroots CSO groups working on sustainable development. The aim of the session is to shift the balance of funding towards more participatory, community-led approaches, thereby redressing the imbalances around power and agency in international development.

Inclusive Global Governance

The multistakeholder ImPACT Coalition on Inclusive Global Governance aims at bringing together and advancing civil society initiatives to put people at the heart of global governance. International Anti-Corruption Court

This session will explore how an (IACC) can help enhance implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). UN Charter Reform

Many reforms being suggested require reform of the UN Charter. Yet this discussion has been taboo for years. This is no longer the case. Moreover, the provisions of the Charter itself, such as Article 109, envisioned that Charter Reform would take place. Science and Policy Solutions for the Planet

This imPACT Coalition will explore how an improved science-policy-action approach to the environment could help to address the triple planetary crisis. How to drive system-wide changes based on science -- including within the international financial institutions and national governments -- is the key question for this coalition.
