Building 探花精选." which is organized to mark the 2024 International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. It will take place on Thursday 4 April at UNHQ from 6:00 - 7:30 pm in the Lobby of the General Assembly Visitor's Centre.?
This important event will include Mr. Giles Duley, the Global Advocate for persons with disabilities in conflict and peacebuilding situations, who curated this exhibit, who will be interviewed live by Ms. Melissa Fleming, the Under-Secretary-General for the Department of Communications, about the purpose of the exhibition and the advocacy he is undertaking in 2024.?
Other UN leaders will speak and ambassadors from Italy and Poland will share their vision and support for the UN's goal to not leave anyone, including persons with disabilities, behind. This exhibition focusses on strengthening the work of the peace and security pillar of the United Nations to address the needs and advance the rights of persons with disabilities in conflict and peacebuilding situations.??
