The UNESCO-ICHEI Digitalization Pioneer Case Award for 2023 is now open for applications from universities worldwide! It aims to recognize their proactive exploration, innovation, and implementation in the field of higher education digitalization.

The award sets up a specific theme every three years, and rewards teams and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to further promoting digital transformation, improving the quality of higher education teaching, and achieving sustainable development, and supports their exploration in promoting higher education innovation.

The theme of this year's Pioneer Award is the "Reform and Innovation of Blended Learning in Higher Education", to discover teams and individuals who are using information technology, blended learning and other means to promote the improvement of higher education teaching quality and efficiency.

Texila American University (TAU) has emerged as a leading force in promoting community welfare in Guyana through its proactive blood donation drives. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, TAU has been dedicated to addressing the pressing need for blood in the region, often heightened by medical emergencies and ongoing health conditions. One of the university��s most recent and impactful drives took place on June 21, 2024, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS).
